Supply Chain • A supply chain is a system of organizations, people, technology, activities, information and resources involved in moving a product or serv ice from supplier to customer. Upstream Downstream Supply Chain Management • Managing upstream & downstream value- added flows of materials, final goods, and rela ted information among suppliers, the compan y, resellers, and final consumers. Retailer & Wholesaler • Retailing includes all activities involved in selling goods or services directly to final consu mers for their personal, nonbusiness use. • Wholesaling include all activities involved in selling goods or services to those who are buyi ng for purpose of resale or for business use.
