The compliance notice remains in force unless, and until, it is revoked. Our Welsh language scheme no longer applied from 25 January 2017 – the day on which we were required to comply with the Welsh Language Standards for the first time. This document sets out how we will implement those standards. 1. Presentation and communication All presentation and communication will not treat the Welsh language less favourably than the English, including correspondence, corporate identity and signage.
