The time limit for completing the TEAS is 209 minutes. The TEAS is not a placement test. What types of questions are on the TEAS? Questions are designed to test the basic academic skills students need to perform in health sciences classes in the areas of Reading, Math, Science, and English and Language Usage. When do I take the TEAS? You must complete the TEAS with a minimum total score to be eligible to apply to the Associate Degree Nursing, Radiography, Respiratory Therapy, Medical Sonography, Cardiovascular Sonography, and Occupational Therapy Assistant Programs. The minimum total score required to apply to each program varies and is found on each program’s curriculum sheet. You should consult your academic advisor to determine when to take the TEAS. Ideally, it is best to take the TEAS after you have completed the minimum prerequisite courses. How many times may I take the TEAS? You may test twice per academic year (July 1-June 30). You must wait at least 30 days between test attempts. You will not be provided an extension to a health sciences program’s application deadline to test. Do I need an appointment to take the TEAS?
